ARTIST'S STATEMENT:
I have always loved to draw and paint since early childhood. I was fortunate
to have two
elementary school teachers and my Mother who encouraged me to pursue art at
a time
when art wasn't considered very important. After my marriage I always plannned
to paint
when my youngest child reached 4 years of age. This took awhile until my 5th
child reached
4 years of age. Actually it turned out to be 14 years plus another 5 raising
them, plus owning
and operating a Radio Shack for 2 years. I love to paint outdoors with a friend
or two.
